i counted up the factual errors in the begining mythology section, the list of the other characters with characteristics similar to Jesus. Zeitgeist had just below 50% accuracy on those, and this is coming from a Deist.

If people want to beleive this crap, that is their perogative, because i love free speech and i would hate to see people lose thier right to it, but seriously, If people want to see conspiracies that are 100% fact, go ahead and read some of the Executive orders Bush passed. No smoke and mirrors, no millenia-old conspiracy to trick you into going to church, just signed and documented opression that you could be spending your time fighting against.

As for 9-11 conspiracy theories, they only make sense if your only source of “information” about what happened that day is from the 9-11 conspiracy theorists. At the very least, you should take a look at the following non-conspiracy sources of information:

I could address all your specific claims about 9-11, but I’m basically tired of doing it and it would take far too long (the links above do a more than adequate job though). I address, “if these people truly had their questions answered, they would not still be fighting and pushing for the facts so much, and questions would stop being asked”, with a quote from James Randi, “the true believer is never swayed by evidence, and will continue to believe despite any amount or strength of evidence. The believer not only wants the delusion to be true, but in most cases desperately needs it to be true”.

I completely know how you feel. The very first things involving 9/11 truth I was exposed to were actually the Pentagon attack pictures and flash video. These things were incredibly moving to me, and I had to admit: they have a case.

Zeitgeist was the most recent film in a long line of films, documents, websites, and podcasts that I had heard regarding 9/11, but the thing I like about Zeitgeist is the way it brings in more elements together to form what appears to be a more “dots connected” sort of approach. You could almost say it is important to note that it is not just preaching about 9/11 truth or even the ‘global elite,’ it is also pointing out that the world culture has a major problem. People are far too complacent with the world around them.

The aspect of all of the past events being an inside job is more frightening than any act of terrorism, and if the world at large is believing something that isn’t true, a false truth that is simply dangerous, that is the most terrifying idea of all.
