Who Is Scott Lee?
Scott Lee, the sole author of ScottFreeThinking.com, has written two different books and over 150 different articles. The Company Administrator of Houston, Texas production company Barton Ct. Productions Inc., Scott has worked for over seven years and has literally grown up working with creative media. Scott has contributed thousands of dollars to various personal charitable causes, has taught students from around the world concepts on personal development and social identity, and is currently working on a BA in Psychology from the University of Houston.
Under his production company’s name, Scott has served as producer for two different major projects: I’m Not Gonna Lie and Barton Police: The Online Comedy Series. His official website, ScottLee.name follows every single project he is currently working on and has updates on things going on with his personal life. Here at ScottFreeThinking.com, the goal is simple: to aid everyone who visits the site in their own personal growth.
He is currently 21 years old, has lived in Houston, Texas his entire life, and is attending college full time.
And now a word from Scott himself…
The interesting thing about personal development is that a lot of different places are telling you a lot of different things. I remember when this site was at its peak, I was raking in several dozen thousand visitors in a very short time preaching about the same old stuff you have likely seen everywhere else in recent time: the Law of Attraction (which is the topic of the popular movie and book The Secret), pick up artists, how to make money while being at least a little bit lazy, and lots of other quirky topics that may or may not actually help people out.
At this point in time, I have determined to at least some extent what stuff is garbage versus what stuff actually works.
As Tony Robbins likes to say, I am NOT a motivational speaker, but more of a strategist. I have not only taken various different courses relating to personal growth & development, I also happen to be one of the guys that actually cares more about empirical evidence than some of these other “online gurus” might. My college education comes in handy but more importantly: my attention to detail and my drive to get to the point.
So why listen to me? Why take my advice? I could probably sit here all day and list a million and one reasons as to why it is I think I know what I’m talking about but in the end: your reality must be the thing that measures up. Your reality must be the truth.
A new book I’m working on will go into massive detail about an entire system you can use for running your life if you so wish to do so but here at this website you will find various different tidbits that will help to hopefully steer you in the right direction. Some of the older entries on this site are not only out of date and somewhat inaccurate, but many people are still finding value in them. For that reason, I have left many of them unedited and have instead decided to simply address the issues I have learned from in newer articles and posts.
Let us begin…
