Dirty Mechin’ Mayhem - Behind the Scenes

Written by Scott Lee - Released February 10th, 2007

In the past 40 days, I’ve written over 30 entries related to personal development, and having said that - I think it’s about time I took just one day to take a step back and mark down, on record how things are going and what I’ve been up to this past month. To start with, yes - this site has been occupying a lot of my time. I wish there was a way to turbo charge my writing speed while still somehow managing to keep things interesting but at this point I’m not sure that would be possible. Currently there is a massive amount going on in my daily life, and the lazy, peaceful days of writing an article a day in January just might be over. For now, there seems to be a good following to this website, but not to a degree that will allow me to make any kind of living in the next few months. There is a problem with this, however, as my traffic is not projected to grow to a sustaining level by May of this year. I’ll need to find other ways of producing income.

I am currently looking for a new job, but in comparison to the amount of content that is still getting released under the systems and businesses I’m involved with, I’m impressed with what seems to now be a creative machine producing a lot of material that I never thought was possible under such stressful conditions. The Dirty Mechanism store, while not matching or exceeding its holiday sales, is still receiving sales, and rather than “hit” products, the diversity of products purchased from the store itself seem to be outstanding. No two of the same product or design have been purchased during the months of January or February in the same month now, for a while. Through last year’s holiday sales, I have generated enough funding to at least cover my living expenses until mid-April. DirtyMechanism.com and its online store are generating a limited amount of money, but is there nearly enough to produce what I would call a state of financial abundance? Certainly not yet. And this is certainly a prime example of how the Law of Attraction works. My intentions seem solid, and my thinking has been more positive overall than it has ever been.

But a question remains with this crazy experiment - what is the course of action to take to align with the intentions? How do I find the solutions to these problems?

One place the solutions may not exist, is with job openings. Today I have checked through a small list of large companies that would offer a person with my skill set employment, and either I do not yet match academic qualifications or there are no openings. Meeting expenses for the month will not be difficult - the question is how do we move beyond that point?

But enough about money for now.

Let me talk a little bit about some of the great things that are happening that, while we are moving on from the topic, could lead to large sums of funding for future projects. Starting with Dirty Mechanism itself first and foremost, I am pleased to announce that a written interview with Win Wenger of Project Renaissance is now coming up and should be online soon! Win has given me some wonderful, lengthy answers that provide lots of information about both his projects, his past, his future, and all things in between! It will take a bit to sort out how this interview will be presented exactly, but I hope to have this online soon! For those of you who do not know about Win Wenger, he is the man behind the Image Streaming technique that is utilized in a continuously increasing number of places in the world today by people of all different backgrounds. Image Streaming can be learned from Win’s books as well as the Learning Strategies Corporation Genius Code personal learning course. Part 5 of Principles of Seduction, probably the final part of the seduction series, as well as many more personal development articles are still on their way for this month all the way to the remainder of March.

Since the launch of the Dirty Mechanism blog in November of 2006, after a little over just three months of existence the site now ranks 62,827 on Technorati.com, a rank that surpasses many of the long list of over 4.5 million blogs listed. This is largely thanks to the wonderful writers of various other blogs who have quoted the articles, linked to them, commented on them, and also the many different blog carnivals that have featured articles from Dirty Mechanism on their sites.

Sometime toward the end of February will be the release of the Dirty Mechanism Personal Development Series Volume 2, featuring over a dozen different personal development articles from here on the site in a printed format. If I can, I’ll try and squeeze in a few exclusive articles only available in the printed edition, but I can currently make no promises. Like the first volume of this series, it will be available for purchasing via the Dirty Mechanism online store.

Also to come in the Dirty Mechanism store are loads of new products in general. Recently released a little over a month ago now was the all new part 1 of the brand new product pack, which seeks to unleash over 150 new product designs to be made available. Part 1 introduced somewhere around 50 new designs, part 2 will hopefully do much of the same. Readers of this site can look forward to even more lucid dreaming designs, as well as many other outstanding surprises. While I do not have a definite date to give as to when this part 2 will be released, I want everyone to know that it is being worked on, and I seek to release part 2 by the end of this month.

On the downside, the all new video content that was promised for the month of January here on DirtyMechanism.com has not yet come, and this is largely due to what happened during my recent fallout with my father’s financial support, along with the strongly opposed move out that I have proceeded in doing in spite of the opinion of my parents. As has been said

On a musical front, Eternal Exhaust currently has new material under way as well. Eternal Exhaust, to those of you who do not follow my musical output, is my musical identity of, mostly, my solo written songs and musical productions. While I am currently disabled from recording for probably the next few months at a minimum, I am currently writing new material that seeks to gain a whole new level of structure I’ve never met before, even further improved vocal ability, and a polished, solid sound of heavy riffs, drums, and yes, bass. The bulk of EE material is, and has been for a while now, largely in only its developmental stages.

The production company that I cooperatively lead and run with founder Stephen Wolfe, Barton Ct. Productions Inc. is also beginning to move along in its momentum again. Over the course of the next month I will be working to assemble an actively running event packages service program where we will seek to serve new customers like never before. The event service we offer is still fairly new, so it will take some time to perfect and optimize. Outside of our event coverage, however, Stephen and some of the other new “big players” of the company are working on some new films. One project we are looking at is a series of 12 episodes, with 6 total hours of edited footage, requiring 150+ hours of production/filming time, along with a $15,000 budget. For a major studio, this would be a piece of trash, but for a tiny company without nickels or dimes to spare, it is a massive undertaking. A new project is currently in development that, after just 2 weeks of being in talks, is looking to take over 2 years to fully complete.

To determine the best course of action to take over the course of time until the beginning of the month of May, where I have to return back to school whether or not I have achieved the beginning portions of my financial success, I will need to continue trying new things, reaching out, and branching out in my efforts to expand my financial abundance. For my age and current situation, however, I think it is worthy to note that I have already manifested over $500 without ANY source of employment over the past two months, with another $300-$5,000 on the way by the end of February, depending on my actions and the outcome of those actions.
